ENCOMPASS Health Management Systems
A wholly owned subsidiary of IFMC, ENCOMPASS provides customized care management programs to self-insured employers, insurance carriers, health and welfare trusts, third-party administrators, municipalities and preferred provider organizations. To help ensure their services conform to best practices in the industry, ENCOMPASS utilization, case and disease management programs are accredited by URAC. more
IFMC Health Care Quality Programs
IFMC Health Care Quality Programs is the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) federally designated Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for Iowa. In addition, as a key vendor for the Iowa Medicaid program, IFMC is working with the Iowa Department of Human Services to build an integrated Medicaid Enterprise. The team also maintains an ongoing leadership role for CMS with projects like public reporting of hospital performance data and the Doctors’ Office Quality (DOQ) project. more

Illinois Foundation for Quality Health Care
The Illinois Foundation for Quality Health Care (IFQHC), a wholly owned subsidiary of IFMC, is the CMS federally designated Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for Illinois. Located in Oak Brook, IFQHC works with thousands of health care professionals, organizations and more than 1.7 million Medicare beneficiaries in the state. IFQHC has also been awarded several other CMS quality improvement projects. more

IFMC Information Systems
IFMC Information Systems (IS) provides innovative health care data management, research and analysis, and information technology (IT) systems development services. IFMC’s experience in collecting, storing, safeguarding and mining data is unparalleled in the health care industry. The unit is a key IT outsourcer for CMS, most recently receiving a contract to develop the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement and Modernization Act (MMA) Section 723 Data Warehouse. The team also works for other clients like the Department of Defense (DoD) and several state agencies. more
