Grant Application Review Process
Grant recipients are selected upon the review and recommendation of IFMC Community Initiative staff, Board of Directors, and possibly, independent reviewers or experts. We will notify all applicants of approval or declination in writing. The anticipated schedule for the 2008 grant cycle has not been finalized. When these dates are confirmed, they will be posted here.

- August 20, 2007: Review and select Letter of Intents for full application
- September 10, 2007: Full applications due
- October 8, 2007: Notify applicants of award selection

Because a limited amount of funding is available, our process is highly competitive. As with any competitive process, the awards are given to those judged best among a pool of extraordinarily good applicants. The denial of a grant proposal should not be taken as a reflection of the merits of your organization or the value of your program or project.
