How do Iowa physicians become members?
Iowa physicians are invited to support health care quality improvement by becoming a member of IFMC. Iowa physicians interested in maintaining and strengthening the quality of care for Iowa citizens may become members by completing the membership form below. To be a member you must be a licensed physician in the state of Iowa and performing professional services as a physician.
Why become a member?
By joining IFMC, physicians demonstrate support for using IFMC's experience, resources, and staff to effectively achieve quality improvement. Membership shows support for the work IFMC conducts on behalf of patients, physicians, and health care providers. Members demonstrate an interest in quality improvement and in learning how best practices and quality improvement information can be applied in a variety of health care settings. Members also have an opportunity to become IFMC physician consultants offering expert medical advice and oversight for IFMC's quality improvement efforts.
What does membership cost?
There is no cost to join. IFMC's mission is to optimize the quality of medical care and health through collaborative relationships, education and health information management. Working together with physician members, the quality of care for all patients will strengthen and improve. Membership is valid for three years from the date you submit this form.
