2007 IFMC Community Initiatives Annual Report Released

September 05, 2008

West Des Moines, Iowa - Supporting the communities where we live and do business is fundamental to our business at the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care, (IFMC). In fact it's a core value.

The IFMC Community Initiative was established to continue our charitable giving on a more formal and substantive level - ultimately helping those in need, being a good corporate citizen, improving the quality of life and making an impact in the community.

In the program's brief history, coupled with other corporate donations, nearly $1 million in grants and donations has been distributed to community programs in Iowa, Illinois and nationally.

IFMC is pleased to release the 2007 Community Initiative Annual Report, which highlights the 13 non-profit organizations in Iowa and Illinois receiving grant monies totaling nearly $250,000.

Organizations interested in applying for 2008 grant cycle funding should review eligibility requirements and learn about the application process by going to www.ifmc.org and clicking on IFMC Community Initiative. Deadline to submit applications is September 30, 2008.
