IFMC Hosts Review Course for Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems
August 19, 2009IFMC, in co-sponsorship with the Iowa Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, is hosting the CPHIMS Review Course on Friday, September 11 at IFMC's corporate office.
The purpose of the CPHIMS certification is to promote health care information and management systems professionals by:- Formally recognizing those individuals who meet the eligibility requirements of the CPHIMS credential and pass the examination
- Encouraging continued personal and professional growth in the practice of health care information and management systems
- Providing a national standard of knowledge required for certification; thereby assisting employers, the public and members of the health professions in the assessment of a health care information and management systems
