CMMI is a process improvement model of best business practices supported by the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Organizations apply these practices to their own processes and procedures in an effort to dramatically improve the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of their product and service development work.
Maturity Level 3 means that IFMC Information Management uses standard proprietary processes to establish consistency across the organization and tailors the processes to meet individual project needs. Processes are managed proactively using an understanding of the interrelationships of process activities and detailed measures.
